So I think I should share "Media" right away so folks know it's really moi - how about a rock? This "rock" is one of my more "famous" rock photos. I took it in a glass display case at the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show years ago in 2007 with a point and shoot camera. The "rock" is an amazing geode from the Bisbee mines and owner called it "Velvet Beauty". Back then it was valued at $25,000. I have thousands of photos on my flickr account that is now about 20 years old. Yikes!

Geode from Bisbee Arizona opened up a little to show off the azurite druzy, fine medium to light blue crystals covering the interior of this large azurite and malachite specimen. It is mostly cobalt blue with swirls of shite and green bits from the malachite.

See, this is the lovely thing about this place. Here, everyone will see this post and boost it, just to give you another “ta-da” moment. Can’t say that about many other platforms.

Of course, no doubt the success will change you, and you’ll end up an egotistical monster, who demands only blue M&Ms at public engagements. And it’ll be all our fault.
