Just because Trump has decided the Gulf of Mexico is to be called Gulf of America, surely does not mean the rest of the world has to adopt the new name

If atlases and maps in the US want to show this, fine, if the rest of the world refuses to, then it won't get adopted.

Out of general interest, who generally decides on these things?
