I'm not sure what to think about @Vivaldi's integration of Proton VPN directly into the browser.

While this doesn't, necessarily, prevent choice, it does kinda impede it a bit.

This is the kind of behavior that has gotten Mozilla Firefox in trouble in the past. This is the behavior of Mozilla that has been the exact reason I've avoided Firefox (what will be forced on me next?).

Just be a really good web browser, please? I'd rather not have to go looking for another browser.

@bedast @Binder @Vivaldi I’m in the position of wanting to leave Firefox for various recent reasons, but really wanting to avoid Chromium-based browsers (briefly tried Vivaldi and it’s great but gotta pass), AND the cherry on top part, hoping to find something that I can sync between my Windows laptop and my iPhone.

No easy task, as it turns out.
