The extra insane thing is, I'm sure plenty of women and men would love stay home. We just don't live in a world that allows that for most people. This is not the fault of feminism, this is late stage Capitalism.

@RickiTarr Mrs Roach used to have an outside job. When we had our first kid, she decided not to work because actually what she wanted was to be a full time mum. 19 years later, she's run two separate businesses (childminder and Airbnb host) and I've been reasonably well paid to cover the family expenses. It has still been quite difficult, because everyone else with two working parents on lower salaries get taxed less. But the kids have had a stable and happy home and always had someone to come
@RickiTarr home to. The next obstacle is going to be pensions, because we have to top up her pension contributions if we want a state pension. Once again capitalism is setting it up so that both parents work, when really she's been much happier not going out to work and the kids are pretty well adjusted too. You're welcome, society.

@RickiTarr What is happening now is not anti-feminism, it is state instigated misogyny, to divide and rule by giving men control of women. Fascism thrives on hatred of any sort, whether it is sex, race, religion or skin colour. It feeds the egos of a small number of men who will flood the media with abuse, and induce naive men to believe that their emotional and sexual needs can be met by controlling women.
