@RickiTarr @FilmNoirPosters I enjoyed the large classic movie and #filmnoir community over on the bird site. There’s much less of that here, but I quickly found @FilmNoirPosters and they brighten my feed.

@smitten and @lethargilistic for being two of my earliest mutuals (that is, mutuals I hadn't already known IRL.) They're funny, they're smart, they're kind, but mostly they showed me that getting to know other small accounts can be way more fun than what I had done on twitter, which was just to follow big accounts.

@RickiTarr Well @skinnylatte consistently shows me styles of food and resources on how to make them that have been great for expanding my middle of North America palate.

When I first started with mastodon I stumbled upon a toot which they had written about how to approach interactions here, treat it like a party where you don't really know anyone.
It was great advice as I've never used any social media before and was at a loss on how to get started.

They're a great couple of people who bring hilarity into my daily Mastodon experience. @mikebrew and @Jayslacks are the people responsible for this #podcast - and they are both fantastic #Mastodon citizens - and they're nice enough to CW spoilers to movies/episodes I haven't seen!
