Diary of an ASD Squirrel. Day 509 , Thursday 20/03/2025
Thursday started just before 7am. A lovely sunny day, perfect for gravel cleaning!
Had to pop down to the quacks for a blood test. Then got stuck in.
It was a nice warm day but I only managed 4 hours before Geoff, my hands & my spine started complaining so, given tomorrow has a passable forecast, I took the executive decision to have the rest of the day off.
Chilled this afternoon reading my book - really enjoying re-reading it as an adult.
Everything hurts this evening, I’m hoping a good nights sleep with the wrist support on will have me fighting fit for another few hours tomorrow!
Final Thoughts.
Cleaning this reed bed filter would be much easier with two, but Mrs S is not one for helping with big projects so it’s just me.
I wonder if some of my being so darn tired today is down to the whole thing around my talk therapy session yesterday.
Thank you to all those who are helping me on this journey, in a myriad different ways. I am thankful to each & every one of you!

Well done on the gravel! It's hard work but bit by bit, you're tackling it and then it will be good for another while, so you'll get to enjoy it.
Yeah it's always harder when you need to do things alone that could be way easier with some help... But that's not how it usually works, unfortunately...
Yay for some relaxing with your book.
Today should be even better weather here than yesterday, so maybe your weather will be good to, to get some more work done? Bit by bit... And wear the brace whenever it's possible! It will be able to provide the rest that your hand needs.
Hope you're having a good night sweets maybe I'll catch you when you're up again
@PixysJourney Thanks Cynni
This gravel thing seems to be the job that never ends, another 5 hours today & still more to do!

Ow wow! That's means there is a load of gravel then!! But well done for sticking to it every time you can. It will look better every time you've spent some time on it. And when summer comes, you'll be able to enjoy your book and coffee next to the very nicely looking pond!
@PixysJourney Thanks Cynni
