This took me about 4 hours to create.
Shout-out to all non-creatives who don't get totally weirded out by their creative friends - when we won't talk to anyone & look like we are doing nothing but just daydreaming.
These are non-creative kindreds who understand that we, #creatives - aren't just spacing out for no good reasons. We aren't being lazy. We are working hard, in our brains. We are deep in inspirational thoughts & we need that time because it is part/parcel of how we can work to create new art. It's an essential part of our #CreativeProcess.
As an inveterate dreamer, I appreciate any who know the value of dreaming.
@SJAsh_03 Fellow artists are often the only ones who understand why I've spent hours talking to rocks & trees & not get bored.
The wind sings, and plays its tunes on the leaves, weaves its patterns in the grass. The tides surge in their desire and the horizon holds secrets and promises. The rocks bear the wisdom of the earth's ages.
How could anyone get bored?
@SJAsh_03 Only folks too disconnected from nature would get bored. That is a lot of folks these days.
Unfortunately, I think you are correct.
@SJAsh_03 I know that because I worked as a naturalist for local parks in the 90s into early 2000s & people actually told me they came to some of the parks I looked after to try to reconnect with nature.
I apologize for all the times I honestly freaked out and thought you were having an absence seizure.
That's in all seriousness, folx..working in allied health care gives you a different viewpoint.
@ananasparachute @septemberagenda@mastodon.sdf.org I appreciate your kindness & concerns. I try to let people here know when I'll be offline for a bit so they don't worry about me. I'm very open with communication & do my best to let folks know when I go offline. Sometimes, I get stresses out too much & forget to put a note up but that is pretty rare.
Please stop apologizing when there is no need to. Save those for when they're really needed
@PhoenixSerenity @septemberagenda
Oh, my bad..I was apologizing to @septemberagenda , who is my husband..he does the looking into space thing when getting an idea, and I used to worry that it was a seizure
@ananasparachute @septemberagenda@mastodon.sdf.org Thank you for clarifying. Same message applies
