Israel, which began incursions into south Lebanon two weeks ago to battle Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah, has issued military evacuation orders affecting more than a quarter of the country, the U.N. refugee agency said on Tuesday.
The figures underscore the heavy price Lebanese are paying as Israel steps up its campaign to defeat Hezbollah and destroy its infrastructure in their one-year conflict.

It's tragic how the United States has transformed itself from fighting fascism, to being its sidekick, and that within 80 years.

For economic reasons, if I remember correctly. Now they are driven by economic reasons.
Only the American people can stop their leaders, by reporting them and bringing them to justice. In the meantime, there are enough American laws that these people have violated.

For peace and prosperity... difficult to understand as a non-American.
I'm surprised that people have no problem seeing their tax money being sent to Israel, when their country in certain aspects (medical care, education, labor protection, infrastructure, etc.) is just a third world country.
