Tell me about it, the new week has begun with a GP appointment to discuss bloods.
But I have fixed some loose guttering & cleaned some more gravel and done my other chores so this is it for me today!

It looks like the kids are all okay now. One is back at school today, and the other two have a day off due to a general strike.

@MAJ1 @weirdfolks I’ve had a rough weekend running on generator power after an ice storm wreaked havoc on the trees and power lines. Running around getting things hooked up and dragged about has me pretty punchy today. 
The power is still out at home and I still had to come into work because our broadband is out as well. I couldn’t remote in, so I braved the icy roads so I could get my work done.
Auntie PJ is a very capable person and I’m not worried about her being able to get anything done in the off chance something goes awry. I filled the gas tank on the generator before leaving this morning and it’ll have enough gas to go ~12 hours.
I’m glad you got the gravel sorted and hope you and Mrs. S have a nice afternoon!

@MAJ1 @weirdfolks Thanks, I hope so too. No progress as of this time, so my hopes aren’t high. There are areas more populated within a 1 hour drive radius that were hit much harder, so I suspect that our little rural area isn’t high priority. This has a three day outage feel to it and we’re just about halfway through that.
Auntie PJ is a trooper, as a former big box store department manager (nearly all of them at one point or another), she’s fairly knowledgeable about the mechanics of things. She’s not afraid to get greasy, she even restored her ‘65 Austin Healey Sprite mostly by herself. I watched her replace the steering column, all the front end suspension, brakes and calipers. She didn’t even bust a knuckle… that was so damn hot!
