Edit - thank you! To be honest its still populating files across my brainiverse and hasn't sorted itself into any kind of readable format yet. I have literally no idea what I think, although became very emotional when she said it was very clear and not even close to the boundary where they would be unsure or unable to diagnose. So it basically means a whole life of feeling 'other' or wired up wrong or generally so different noone could ever understand me, now there's an answer for. And that made me feel very overwhelmed. So we'll see if it makes a material difference. At the very least I hope to try and use it to be a bit kinder to myself, as have a tendency to beat myself up over a lot of things.
@TheBreadmonkey @actuallyautistic I know those feelings well, many late diagnosed Autists do.
Take your time, as you rightly say the very first thing to do is stop blaming yourself - we are not broken, we are not wired up wrong - just differently!
I embraced the label of #Neurospicy because that just feels so me!
